Failing CE, need higher score on Resource Management
Like putting teams together and such. I have read the AHPP over and over again along with amber videos, cheng books and black specticle videos. I have been a pm for over 20 years, dont get it.

Dave,
What is your scaled score overall? Is this your first attempt, how have your other divisions gone?
Many candidates incorrectly think that you have to pass each content Area to pass each division - all you have to do is meet the minimum total number of questions correct. This often leads to candidates under-valuing the work it takes to maintain the level of knowledge they've already demonstrated, instead over-focusing on specific topics they remember from their attempt that may or may not appear on a retake.

Hi Dave,
It takes effort - more than most candidates realize - just to maintain the level of knowledge necessary to get the same number of questions correct. If your scaled score is at or over 500, you're in the statistical "passing range" that half of all exams score within - 50% of exam divisions taken score within 4 questions either side of the cut score question. If you're in that passing range, it's often much easier to get enough additional questions correct to pass by improving your knowledge a little in a couple of content areas you're already fairly competent at, rather than trying to make all of your improvement in the content area you have the lowest score in. If your score is below 495 or so, then you likely need more in-depth improvement, or there's something about how you're approaching the exam that needs adjustment.
