Provisional PASS but email says FAIL…?

    Hi Jyguan007,

As far as I and all of my Ab colleagues have ever heard, the provisional results you see at the end of your exam are fully accurate pending review for any irregularities.  We've never heard of anyone receiving a different score from what they received provisionally.  It sounds like you had a minor irregularity, which has likely triggered a more manual review of your test, and some oddity about their system sent that email.  504 errors should be server-side, downstream of your connection, so that shouldn't be on you (it may be some system that isn't completely on NCARB's side either, but it shouldn't be a problem with your connection to the internet)

Keep an eye on the exams tab of your NCARB account for your actual results if they haven't showed up yet.  Definitely keep us posted!

    Best,

I am sure you checked but just to double check here, are you sure the email belongs to ncarb and legit? I have never gotten an email from NCARB either pass or fail a day after the exams.

hi all! i just checked the dashboard and i passed!

the ncarb rep replied and told me that the "fail" email is for the previous pjm exam which got interrupted by power and internet. super weird that they sent out this email because that score has already been invalidated.

    anyway tho! thanks everyone!
