Hi Florentina - Yes, I have taken the whole Funkaar ARE 5.0 Ready Prep course back in 2019 at Rice University during the summer. It was a 10 day all 6 Exams Prep Ready Course. It cost in the range of $2500 with a 10% discount during the summer promotional period for first time, new customers. I found the Funkaar course VERY Helpful and I found the Instructor VERY helpful. Even though I was not able to take the ARE 5.0 tests back in 2019 (as planned) due to family medical emergencies that happened later that year, I would definitely recommend Funkaar again. The only con I can think of is the price. It was expensive but I do understand they (Funkaar) do have to earn a living too (like we all do) and the price was actually worth it (in my experience) if you can afford it. If you have anymore questions about Funkaar please email me at architect247@att.net if needed. FYI: I'm not being paid by Funkaar to write this review & I am in NO WAY affiliated with Funkaar.  I'm only trying to be helpful to my fellow Architecture colleagues who struggle with timed tests and reading the timed test questions on these exams. These exam have been a very difficult journey for me and I don't want other Architecture colleagues to struggle the way I have struggled for the last 4 years of taking these exams. Again, I'm not trying to bash NCARB or create any drama for NCARB (not my intentions). I only wanted to respond to this question ONLY TO HELP from the bottom of my heart & TO HELP my fellow Architecture colleagues. Currently, at the moment - I have found a new test prep series called Amber Book which is more video series learning which has been good for me! Good Luck Florentina!

Enrolling in Funkaar is one of my biggest regrets. Months after being dropped from the course for pointing out big problems, I am being harassed, intimidated, and threatened. They have ruined my credit, even though I have a receipt showing that I paid in full with a business credit card for my LLC. It's illegal to report false debt, but it's really illegal to put an LLC transaction on someone's personal credit report. Now they are forcing me to hire a lawyer just to shelter myself from the wild accusations and abuse. Ever letter claims I owe them more and more money. Never mind that my experience of the course itself was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this program to anyone.
I am literally afraid to write an honest, detailed review because they have come after me with debtors and lawyers. You probably can't find reviews of Funkaar because of this. I have been intimidated and I am scared to share a detailed, honest review.

    Paul:

Thank you for the honest review. I would invite thousands of past students to post more honest review. Funkaar success is primarily through word of mouth. Professor Hanlon.

I took funkaar classes before Covid and find a few things wrong with it and therefore don’t recommend it. It is pricy for what it is , few condensed weeks to go through all 6 sessions is nearly impossible for most of us working already and having active lives. At the time I didn’t know but found out later as I knew the material better that the material if full of confusion and errors so I’d say at the end of the day it probably delayed me rather than helping me because a lot of the material are explained superficially as you have to fly over the material rather than deep dive. I found a source like amber books and designer hacks much better and a fraction of the price and you can pace it on your schedule. I only passed one test during the condensed session and finished the 6 divisions thanks to other methods and sources. I would stay away from it
