NCARB Ethical responsibility to its licensure candidates

    Apparently none, I was told someone would get back to me on this issue but it never happened.

    NCARB could have negotiated a refund (even partial) of exam fees with Prometric or an extension of the testing period for people with booked seats.

    Alternatively, they could have provided exam credits in PSI to reimburse candidates that have paid and needed to re-schedule exams in Prometric after May 31st.

    Not surprised..

    The same here, I tried to reschedule my exam to after June, but just figured i couldn't. Emailed them but haven't gotten any responses yet.

    Does PSI offer 1 test station per location? Hoping maybe some switch gets activated in this transition period because this is pathetic!

    Monopolies that are codified by law have no incentive to care about the people beholden to them. The only thing that will make NCARB respond is for us to stop participating.

    I'm an architectural educator. I'm going to advise my students to stay away from NCARB until it reflects the community and listens to us.
