Question About Limited Scheduling Availability
I just logged in to schedule my next two exams and ran in to a bit of a surprise - the soonest available time slot is in two weeks, and it's in the middle of the night.
I took my first exam in December, during the holidays, and would check the availability schedule regularly to gauge my options while I was preparing. There were always a handful of time slots available within the upcoming 1-3 days, and many available beyond that. So, I went in with the same game plan for scheduling this time around, now that I am ready to sit for both PjM and CE.
My question is, was the wide availability for online-proctored scheduling this fall a complete anomaly? Is scheduling at least 2-3 weeks out to be expected?
Note: For reference, I also checked in-person availability at local testing centers. I live in a major metropolitan city, and there's nothing within a 50-mile radius available until the end of March.

I've watched as several more days of availabilities disappeared over the past 18 hours, so the situation with Prometric seems to only be getting worse. This led me to opt for the Amber Book approach and have scheduled my next 3 exams in the same week, for the end of this month. I'd still like to hear from others about this though.

Carolina Clemente Perez, I am doing remote testing. I did, however, look at in-person availability for comparison, and those appointments are even harder to come by. The soonest availability within a reasonable distance (<50 miles) was at least 7 weeks out - compared to 3 weeks for online. And I'm in a metropolitan area of over 6 million people.
