About ARE 6.0
Hi, dear ARE fellow takers,
Who knows when the ARE 6.0 will be delivered? Thank you in advance.

Hi Lotus0418,
Every time it has come up on one of NCARB's ARE Live sessions that I've been there for (which is most of them), they state that they don't have a set timeline for when the transition to ARE 6.0 will begin, but that it will be at least a couple of years out at minimum - I'm anticipating 2030ish is more likely than 2028ish based on the recent changes that have been made and the current state of the exam. The ARE doesn't automatically undergo major changes on any fixed schedule, pending results of the Analysis of Practice NCARB conducts once per decade. The 2012 Analysis of Practice led to major enough changes to ARE 4.0 that ARE 5.0 launched in Nov. 2016. The 2022 Analysis of Practice seems to have not pointed to such a significant change to the exam as to make a shift to ARE 6.0 yet. (part of that is the psychometricians - PhD test-development experts - seem to be in the driver's seat more now, for better or worse, and the exam is structured in a way they're happy with for the time being).
Best,
Ralph, the Amber Book Team -
Hi Ralph,I have another question. I enrolled in and studied your Amber Book Course in September to October in 2022 using the group discount price of $220 per month. But as I worked full time and didn't have time to take the exams, I postponed my study until now. Recently I have quitted my job and plan to study full time in order to take the exams in 3 months. I want to enroll in your course again and have a question for it. Can I still use the group discount price of $220 per month to enroll in it?I have sent a email including the same question to your email address info@amberbook.com. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you again soon regarding the answer.
