    Thank you, Jrennert.

If I mistakenly pressed the “End Session” button, even though the proctor had noted at the beginning that I should notify them, will this cause any issues with my exam or affect my ability to receive the exam result?

Thank you for your help and clarification.

    Best regards,

    Hi Yuzheng,

It shouldn't at all - the software should take care of it all on the back end, and you should see a score report pop up within the usual timeframe.  Most people see their score reports there first, usually 5 business days after they tested, the Guidelines state 7-10 calendar days.  If you haven't seen your score report show up in your MyNCARB account on the 11th day after testing, definitely reach out to NCARB.

This is exactly what happened for me. I clicked "End Session" per proctor's exact instruction and didn't get the provisional "PASS/FAIL". For all previous exams I believe I clicked "End Exam" as I knew immediately that I passed. Now I have to wait for the official report...
