Amber Book Study Guide
What was your approach when going through the Amber Book? stop and takes notes? just watch and try and absorb as much of the info as possible? did you rewatch any sections? did you really just take the tests straight after going through it? did you try to memorize everything that they covered? Also did you study anything else?

I’ve heard - watch then go back and re-watch while taking notes. It’s time consuming.
On the other hand, if you can watch a video per section, then take notes on that video (if needed) I think that gets the job done of reinforcing the ideas without literally re-watching all the videos and sections at a future time.
In short, watching the videos and then immediately re-watching the video (when needed) and taking notes worked best for me. Some sections like mechanical systems I need to watch at least twice as I’m just not as familiar with them. They just take a bit more dedicated time. Hope that helps.

I used The Amber Book to prepare for my last two exams PPD and PDD, and passed both in March 2021. I found The Amber Book to be tremendously helpful and I can’t say enough good things about it. I did not take many notes while watching the videos. However, I did complete the workbook questions for each topic before watching each video. I found completing the workbook questions first helped reinforce my understand of specific material or led me to know what I needed to further study. I think its important to review anything noted as *important*, review the flashcards, take the practice exams, and make sure to review the panic notes after watching the majority of the videos. Best of Luck!
