Yep, NCARB isn't communicating to their Stakeholders regarding the transition away from Prometric to PSI.

    Who knows what's going on?!?

I was wondering the same thing. I am in South Florida and having the same issue. Thankfully, I was able to schedule my PA retake for April but after that there is absolutely no availability for my last two exams I planned on taking in the summer. I asked if there was no availability due to the change in testing companies.

I wrote to NCARB and they said:

We sincerely apologize for the delay in our response to your email. We have recently experienced a high volume of requests and we are diligently working to review and address each customer's inquiry. No, this is not due to the switching of test providers. Are you still having issues finding availability. You may want to consider online proctoring.

I then said I did not want to take it online to which they responded:

Thank you for contacting the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).

We sincerely apologize for the delay in our response to your email. We have recently experienced a high volume of requests and we are diligently working to review and address each customer's inquiry. There is nothing that I can do regarding Prometric availability. Please contact prometric support at 1-800-775-3926

I do not want to take it online and do not like that they are pushing for it!!

    Alyssa and Mary,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  Prometric has corrected an error on their end, so you should now be able to find availability in your local test centers.  Let us know if that's still not the case for you.

All candidates can now schedule exams, for both test centers and online, through July 31, 2021.

There is still no availability for me at my local test center. I take mine on weekends and I only see two dates for a Monday and a Tuesday in June.

How soon after you switch test providers will there be dates available and will there be as many locations as Prometric?

    Mary,

Can you let me know which test centers you're searching?  And are you saying there are no weekend appointments before June, or no appointments at all?

    West Palm Beach, FL.

I see July 31st for Boca, which is a little out of the way but doable and I have tried signing up 6 times yesterday and today and it keeps saying there is an error and I cannot schedule it.

I tried to schedule a test today, I'm in West Palm Beach too and I could only find Fort Myers, Sarasota and Tampa which are all hours away.

Mary, just confirming here that someone from NCARB's Customer Relations team is working with you directly to schedule your exam.

Yvette, we've confirmed with Prometric that the test center in West Palm is open and has availability.  I'll forward your name to Customer Relations but feel free to also reach out to them to discuss your specific testing needs.
