Talking to proctor in the Prometric center and they said starting next week, the locker key is green. Meaning that you have access to anything you want during break... Including notes or cellphone. But.... Now you cannot review at the end of the exam, anything that you did before the break. To me, I have no use for my cellphone or notes during a break. But I definitely felt it was great to mark any questions For Review and look at them if I have time at the end . Now if you take a break, you can't do that for your first pre-break session. Which unfortunately I think is going to mean a lot if people will not take a break

  Yes, the whole honor code situation with locker access during the breaks seems like a big hole in their attempt to make the exams harder to cheat on....

  You know what the biggest security hole is? On the break, a candidate can go to the bathroom. Anything could be hidden there .. phone.... Cheat sheets .... I told that to the proctors. They didn't seem that concerned.

  I have yet to take one break on an NCARB exam. Currently 4/6 exams completed. The software is just too touchy to even consider putting any more burden on it that would come with a break.
