RFI type 3 hour points

I noticed this question was asked previously but it doesn’t look like it was answered. In AHPP, paragraph 4 on page 817 states a type 3 RFI equals 10 hour points. But in paragraph 8 on the same page it states type 3 RFI’s are 5 hour points. I have noticed questions on designer hacks practice exams use both answers. Is it different in certain circumstances?

  I noticed the same thing. Designer Hacks has a few questions in varying form relating to what the RFI points are and sometimes the answer is 10 and sometimes 8. AHPP page 817 bounces between 10 and 8 also. But I notice at the very bottom of AHPP page 817 there is table 12.1 which gives a range of 8-12 labor points for a type 3. If someone could explain I'd also appreciate it.

  Pag. 817 also explain, this is for Quality Assurance. I would say to remember the following:

  Type 1: 2-hr point

  Type 2: 5 hr point

  Type 3: 8 hr point 

  Even though the labor hours for each may vary.

  Great, thank you! This is what I’ve been going by, just hard to rationalize when it says one thing and then immediately gives a different example.
