Prometric Scheduling Queue
Ever since yesterday's announcement Prometric has had a long queue to reschedule exams.
I've never once had a similar delay in scheduling my exams and now I'm seeing 1500+ people are in line ahead of me.
What is happening? Are there really that many of us trying to reschedule or is there some other exam causing this. Are one of you DDOSing prometric? That seems misguided if so, this isn't their fault.

I have NEVER encountered this before in the 8 times I have scheduled exams. I am currently 902 in line to schedule (I started at 1210) This is nuts

Update: 3 hours later I got through - the website has a different layout now. After navigating through and selecting my time and date, it placed be back in a SECOND QUEUE. I'm now 1055th in line (a number that is changing both up and down), awaiting to see if there are more steps and that my appointment is confirmed.
So I'm assuming this is being caused by the website update..

Hey Joshua, Seth, Kathleen, and Mark,
We reached out to Prometric this afternoon regarding the scheduling backlog. The queue message is appearing because there is a high volume of candidates across all Prometric programs that are attempting to schedule and/or reschedule appointments. This is not a specific NCARB issue. Prometric noted that this sometimes happens when a major program opens up a new testing window. As those candidates rush in, it creates a queue for all Prometric candidates.
The Prometric system will continue to process candidate schedule/reschedule requests as they come in. Candidates can wait in the queue online or wait and try again later or tomorrow after the rush has subsided.

Hey to anyone who has this problem.
I went back onto the site later that night around 8:30 and I got on no problem - no wait.
So I suggest if this happens, try again later.
Best,
