  • Bidding and Contracting Information 
    • Instructions to Bidders 
    • Bid Forms 
    • Information available to Bidders (soils report) 
    • General Conditions (rulebook of the contract) 
    • Supplementary Conditions (modifies the general conditions, contains Contractor's overhead and profit) 
    • Samples of Owner-Contractor agreements 
    • Other contractual information 
  • Specifications = communicate the type and quality of materials (Descriptive, Performance, Reference standard, and Proprietary) 
    • General Requirements (Division 1) 
    • Technical Sections (Followings Divisions) 
    • The construction specifications override the project drawings in the event of conflicting information 
    • Specifications are a basic service
