Anyone still use Black Spectacles?
The past few months I have been coming to this forum to see what everyone is studying and I am curious if people are still using Black Spectacles as a resource? I seem to see it much less listed in people's personal resources than I did, say, a year ago? Just curious if it is still worth my time/money!
Thanks!

I've passed the three exams I've taken so far on the first try using Black Spectacles for 95% of my prep material and plan to continue using it for the remainder. I believe in terms of helping you understand the range of topics and content you will need to know for each exam it is pretty spot-on. I've been able to just do a quick internet search or ask a senior team member in my firm on anything that I need extra help on.
That being said, I think the way BS helps you really understand the types of questions NCARB will ask, as well as the critical thinking strategies to use when coming up with the best answer for a question, are extremely helpful. I'd suggest listening to a few of their podcast episodes to get a feel for their content/vibe if you're not sure you want to commit to the monthly membership.

I agree with Laura. I have used Black Spectacles as my primary study resource and have passed every exam I've taken so far on the first try (PA, PcM, PjM, CE). So far I have really appreciated the PPD videos and feel like I will be in a position to pass once I get through them all.
Primarily, the videos help me with developing my critical thinking skills, which has really helped me on the exams with questions I may not know right off the top of my head. I highly recommend it.
