ARE Boot Camp for the Finish
Mike Riscica's ARE Boot Camp is the study group I didn't know I needed.
Just got the official "Your done with the ARE" email. Having worked in architecture for over 25 years, it feels pretty great to have finally finished these exams. What a ride. Taking the ARE Bootcamp has paid back in spades. It has been one of the best decisions along this journey. At first I had some reservations about the cost, and then it dawned on me that I had spent tens of thousands of dollars on my education, so many hours of an internship, the ARE Boot Camp cost was just enough to try to make me vested to the process. Somewhere between completing the ARE Boot Camp and entering into their alumni community, I had realized that I had tapped into a current like in the ocean. Mike and the other ARE Boot Campers and Alumni were making this jet stream that just made traveling the wide open gulf between education and profession so much easier to navigate. I still had to get in the water and learn different strokes for the variety of tests. It was simpler this time around with having learned new study habits. What I thought was going to be about speed was really about the power of momentum. The power of a group making their own flow in this overwhelming sea of information.
However, you may get there, I hope you choose to be around others traveling the same path and making waves. It’s never too late, or too soon, to start and start and start.
Believe you can finish, find your people, and swim.

Michael and Ana,
I've read your story only to find out that I'm not alone in this similar circumstance, I've been in the industry for 20 plus years and have only recently started the journey to licensure. Michael I signed on last year to your boot camp and having to toggle between commitments and work, work always took priority. I would like to rejoin the boot camp experience and start getting all this behind me. I've only taken the PCM exam and didn't pass while studying on my own. I realize I need help in accomplishing this, any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Aleli,
You are not alone and you can definitely do this! I too found I put work and projects first, only to have times when I would pick back up, dust myself off, and start up again. There are so many to swim with, jump on over to the ARE Boot Camp website, where you can reach out directly to Michael. I bet he's all ears.
