Case Study Practice management of ARE 5.0 exam
Hi all,
I just came back from my 1st exam, Practice Management Exam of the ARE 5.0. I am not happy and been informed by the after exam evaluation of my failing the test. I have noticed the case study was slow than the rest of the questionnaires earlier. However, the type of the case study was totally not similar to what I have studied and practiced using the PPI exam preparation books. The Case study was very slow to upload its references pages and each time needed to go back to the questionnaire it took some delay and had to scrolling back to the bottom of the page of the screen to put my final answer. I wish there are some tips to understand and practice of the case study of the Practice exam and wonder if they have them on youube.

Hey Selwa,
I had the exact same experience. I've rescheduled the retake but am unsure on what approach to take this time around. I'm now looking around for more resources. I was going to try PPI but it sounds like I'll get the same results. I was using a mixture of BlackSpectacles and Brightwood.
Thanks

Well, the following days after I had my exam I started searching online and then decided to go back to my old School Studies resources (Project Delivery Methods) from 2007 students edditions, and I found only one subject related to the exam that been illustrated in a schedule but does not cover all the aspects of office practice management. That is so difficult to find the way or methodology to answer these questions.

I agree with you guys. I have been studying and taking exams for about a year-and-a-half now and while the ARE Handbook provides good references for the MC portions of the exam, it is severely lacking in information about the case studies. In fact, I am confident that my inability to prepare for the case studies has caused me to fail at least three exams. It would be great for NCARB to give more guidance to candidates on this portion of the ARE's.
