How should I study in advance before starting the ARE journey?

Hello Everyone! I'm planning to start my ARE journey a year from now. What study materials would you recommend to me to learn in advance? Also, does learning from online ARE review courses from websites like Black spectacles better than learning from books?

  Hi. Why wait a year?! Start you are journey now! Read the NCARB handbook. Gather the books you might need. Start reading. Do the demonstration exam. I think CE is a very manageable exam. You could have your first pass under your belt by the end of December.
