COVID testing with PPE Mask
I have a test coming up on Friday and our Prometric testing center in Spokane, Washington is requiring test takers to wear a mask. Has anybody had to do this and do you have any tips. I am a little worried that it will be a distraction, be uncomfortable and will cause more anxiety.
I just bought a more comfortable fabric mask and it's already uncomfortable after five minutes of wearing it. 😷
If any of you have had to do it can you share your experience and any tips to make it better.
Thanks

I took PDD with a cloth mask and had the same concerns prior. I bought one specifically for the exam that tied behind my head and only rested on my ears so it did not pull on my ears. It also had a seam at the nose to not squish it. I was worried it would be distracting during the long exam but I barely noticed it. I felt like exam jitters won out, and I was way more focused/stressed about the actual exam questions.

I've been wearing various masks for years doing yardwork in the peak of summer in the humid mid-south due to severe allergies and some asthma; all of the N-95-type masks/respirators I've worn have at least two straps, sometimes with a pressure distribution piece at their midpoints, that go around the back of your head and put basically no pressure on the ears. Ditto to Gwendolyn's comment. For anyone else, definitely get one (or modify one) that will keep the straps off your ears.
