PjM Fail - square feet, cubic yard conversion

I had multiple questions ask me to convert square feet to cubic yards, yet I wasn’t given a depth, only length and width. Can anyone guide me on how to convert to cubic yards when you don’t know the depth?

  My guess is you may have missed a hint in the question that gives you the depth.
