Fresh from the trenches
Hello all
This is my 2nd post, first exam in 5.0
I'm an old lady...
I have been working in field for quite sometime, and I did not complete 3.0
You should know overall material as noted here.
I did not complete all of the exam (most of which was case study 1 questions), I simply ran out of time.
(I had approx. 1 1 /2 hrs left for case studies after my break)
But I feel pretty good, I hope I get good news. But on to the next...
My 2 cents and what I did:
Studied Brightwood, PPi2 pass, Black Spectacles exams
Try to complete as much of the multiple choice as briskly as you can, but look for key words in questions.
(I missed a few gimmees in practice exams because I missed key words/ clues in questions like "during construction vs during bidding, etc.!")
I scanned over all of case study material before taking my break.
I then regrouped, focused on the case study that appeared less difficult, and answered all of those.
Tried to get back to other incomplete MC questions (only a few) and case study 1 questions
( Probably had 5-8 incomplete?) but could not.
Key: don't get bogged down too much with the calculations or references if they are not straightforward, tackle those lastly.
I hope this helps someone, best of luck to everyone still in the trenches....
PS: I am not even going to look whether I passed
I will just press on until maybe 3/4 way to see how I'm doing
