Second PDD Fail
Hey ARE Community!
I've been taking my AREs as fast as I can and I've passed 5 in the last year. For some reason PDD is giving me some trouble.
I've read Ballast, Building Codes Illustrated, Building Construction Illustrated and Brightwood, as well as done a lot of Youtube research. I seem to be having the most trouble with Construction Documentation. Does anybody know of a good way to study this topic? I have about 3 years of CD experience, but it doesn't seem to help me on the test.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I am also fighting to pass this exam. You can rent Fundamental of Building Construction methods and materials from amazon for about $30. I've found as someone with less on site experience with commercial projects, it explains a lot about construction and provides details and help with knowing why certain details are done a certain method.
Other than that, just know its accumulative. Every exam brings you closer to knowing the material you need to know. Amber books really helped me to get a solid understanding of the material. I highly recommend if your newly out of school like I was/am. This is al ink to a free online construction detailing book. I also think its helped me a lot to join the Facebook group that Michael Riscica started called The ARE Facebook Group. The people answer questions super quickly and you can search the page for answers.
