Classroom Occupancy

Hi,

I understand a classroom inside an A-3 Religious/Worship Facility with an occupant load of less than 100 is considered the same occupancy. So Assembly, not Educational.

What about a classroom in a Business Occupancy, does the same less than 100 rule apply?

  A classroom is only for K-12. College and business are either B or Assembly.

  Thank you, Clayton. One clarifying question, if it's a college how do you know if the classroom should be an assembly or business occupancy? I read in black spectacles if the classroom is under 100 occupants its business and over 100 it's assembly. I've also read in IBC code commentary the threshold is 50, not 100. So conflicting information per usual...

  without knowing what was said in Black Spectacles, could it be you are remembering two different bits of information as one?
