International architect pursuing NCARB license - seeking advice

    Have you worked before w Licensed Architect in your home country. Note that AXP is not mandatory to start ARE.

    Yes i did for 9 years as an architect in Egypt. But there is difference in regulations and rules, so i am trying to get informations and guidance from someone went through the same experience.

    Hi, you can have half of your experience registered form a foreign country. What I should do is registered does AXP as soon as possible. Then focus on the ARE, the rest of the AXP will come, is the ARE where you need to focus and the hardest part of the process. SO my suggestion, book Practice Management Exam

    i will start documenting my experience from foreign country.

    i was planning to start the ARE soon as well, just felt like asking here first before i start so i dont waste time doing the wrong things.
