Cannot reschedule online PDD exam

    Hello,

    I called the NCARB Customer Support team yesterday at 9:34 AM (DC time) from Tokyo but got a recording saying there was a team training in session and that calls were not being answered. Please respond to my above request for rescheduling.

    I'm located in Seoul, Korea, and I’ve been continuously experiencing the same issue. I’ve already tried all the suggested solutions shared by other users, but nothing has resolved the problem. I've also sent multiple emails, but haven't received any meaningful response so far.

    I will try to call  as well, but I want to express that this kind of recurring issue — especially without a clear and immediate solution — is quite discouraging. Scheduling systems directly affect our time, costs, and personal plans, and it's frustrating that there's no effective support when things go wrong.

    It seems there may be NCARB representatives in this community, and I sincerely hope this issue can be properly addressed. I’ll also try calling and let you know how they respond.

    I echo your frustrations! I called NCARB again on the evening of July 26th (Japan time). I was told the issue is occurring across the US and that it would take 1-2 days (did not specify business or calendar days) for them to resolve. While they immediately returned my seat credit, I am still not able to reschedule. I will call them this evening Japan time as well and let you know what the response was.

    Hi yeonmoonkim I just spoke with NCARB and the scheduling issue remains unresolved. They hope it will be fixed this afternoon.

    I just got off the phone with customer service, and they said that many people have been receiving the same red box message due to a similar issue. They mentioned that there seems to be a technical problem on the PSI side, and while they’re not sure when it will be fixed, they assured me they’re working on it and will follow up via email as soon as possible.

    Interestingly, after the call, I tried booking the exam again using Safari — and somehow, it worked this time. I’m not sure what changed, since I had already tried everything before: different browsers, different devices, clearing the cache, etc.

    You should try booking again too. I hope this issue gets resolved for everyone soon. Hang in there — I’m rooting for you!

    Thanks yeonmoonkim for your update and support; I am glad you were able to schedule. Good luck with your test! The issue hasn't resolved itself on my end unfortunately. In fact, it has gotten even more complicated. I am going to start a new message below outlining my issues.

    Hello NCARB, I am posting an abridged version of the e-mail I just sent to your support team: 

    I am still getting the red box with error message when I try to schedule. When I do find a date where I can schedule an exam, the date I request online and the date in the confirmation e-mail (and my NCARB record do not match). 
     
    The confirmed date is 16 hours behind what I requested online. Per your agent's suggestion, I have been experimenting with the Test Run scheduling system but it is not working. I have been having to add 16 hours to my desired time and schedule that way but I get an error. Looks like it is scheduling to Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time (HST)?

    When will this issue be resolved?
    Please give me a definite answer so that I can plan my study schedule.

    I have taken PDD more times than I care to admit and I cannot afford to not know when I can take it.

    I'm experiencing the same issue. While I'm able to make a reservation, the system automatically confirms the appointment 16 hours earlier than the time I selected. I tried rescheduling, but the same thing happened again.

    It seems the technical issue hasn't been fully resolved yet. I’ve sent another follow-up email, and I think I’ll need to call them again this evening.

    This whole process is really exhausting and frustrating.

    Looks like we are in the same situation, unfortunately.

    We are paying for our exams. We should at a minimum be told whether  the issue is being looked into or not. NCARB please let us know when this situation will be resolved.

    I have the same problem here in Hong Kong! It appears that the whole PSI system is down for registering PPD online exams. And my seat is expiring tomorrow...

    I suggest you call them to get your seat back. No progress on my end. Still waiting for the system to get fixed.

    I’ve been continuously reporting this issue via email, but it seems like I’ll have to make another phone call. I also mentioned that candidates from multiple countries—including Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong—are experiencing the same issue. It would be helpful if an NCARB representative could post a response directly in the community thread. I’ll give them a call and let you know what I find out.

    If you receive any updates or responses regarding this issue, I’d appreciate it if you could share them here with me as well.

    Hey yeonmoonkim, I feel for you. Saturday AM I was able to schedule successfully. For some reason it worked. I just kept trying.

    I suggest scheduling the 30 min free test run as a trial. If this works, your exam should work too. You can cancel and reschedule your test runs as often as you like for free.

    NCARB please help us out and keep us posted here. That way everyone will be informed. Thanks.
