Hi,

What is the different between Option A and Option B. for me both are the same. Thank you in advance

  The fins of the sun shade in option A and B are facing different directions. Option A is correct because the fins would block the sun from the lower portion of the windows while reflecting light further into the space from the light shelf inside the space. Option B would allow the sun through to the lower windows.

  Look closely at the differences between A and B: the angle of the louvers is important in how the light reaches the spaces within the building.

  Option A works to mitigate the sunlight and break it up, providing protection from glare and direct sunlight. Option B would defeat the purpose of installing the louver for this question, as it would allow more light into the space since it does not break up the sunlight as well as Option A.
