I took about four months to complete Amber Book.  When I finished I took a test about every two weeks.

For me, it gave me enough time to take a mental breather for a week and then head into the next exam with a week to only focus on the NCARB practice exam and the Amber Book flashcards to rehash material.  I found that mental clarity was the most important trait to bring into these exams, so the extra space between exams helped with decompressing after a test.  That said, I do believe Michael's recommended strategy is a good way to go if you just want to rip the band-aid off and get into it.

I can't recommend Amber Book enough.  Especially the flashcards.  NCARB practice exams are also key!

i took 5 exams over 6 days (skipped the sunday but i ended up taking practice exams), i ended up passing 3 of them with the amber book method. It got me into a routine and i stopped feeling anxious after the first exam.

Personally I didn't want to do it Michael's way because I felt like it guaranteed at least a couple fails. I wanted to study harder/longer and fail no exams if possible.

I started amber book at the beginning of November using their 16 week schedule. I finished the lectures beginning of February (3 months). I gave myself 1 month to focus on pcm & pjm using the flashcards, practice exams, and other misc stuff. Then I took the two exams together. After that I did the same for the other exams, studying 1 month then taking two exams together. I took pdd two days ago, so just under 6 months in total. I failed CE, so I have to retake that in a couple weeks.

I did 1 / week after 2 months of AB + other pro-practice lectures (Hanahan).

Cram Saturday - Sunday (practice tests & analysis, some rewatching and rewriting AB notes), test on Monday, then took the rest of the week off to recharge (and work) to repeat it again 5x.

However, by the end of the 6 weeks, I was definitely ready to be over with it, it dragged on.  But I did pass them all which is all that really matters I suppose.
