Short on time - which practice exams to take?
I only have time for one set of practice exams. I have access to NCARB's of course, and also Amber book and Erik Walkers exams. I've heard Walker exams are most difficult and Amber's are easiest. I don't know anything about the NCARB ones. Which should I prioritize? I am taking all six exams over the next three weeks

Hi nicolemckernan, which exams are you studying for? From experience, I am not sure if a set of exam questions will make a difference. You have to look at holistically and take some time to do as many practice questions as you can so that it helps you take the real exam. I would recommend taking the NCARB practice exams for the divisions you are testing if you have limited time. Study the topics and objectives that are provided on these practice questions.
I would highly recommend that you take a look at the the Young Architect practice questions, they are broken down into exam divisions and also by NCARB objective. There are 160+ questions per exam division. They will help you understand the content so that you are ready exam day.

Best of luck with your studies!

Ncarb practice exams are slightly easier than the real thing, but the format and feel of the questions is identical. Other practice exams will be harder, but they're also asking things the real exam will never ask you to do. So I don't see them as necessary unless you have all the time in the world.
