I took liberal arts online courses at the University of Phoenix (I lacked 19 credits). It’s a bit pricey, but it’s only a 5-week course. If you want something cheaper, LSU continuing education offers liberal arts courses for 7 weeks. I also took residential code as LSU to satisfy the laws&regulations credit requirement, and they have a few classes that may count as building performance too.

These are courses I took for liberal arts at the UOPX. (The ones I crossed out are for professional practice)

    Hey,

I applied for the EESA evaluation, and it seems I will have over 20 credit deficiencies in Liberal Arts. While I wait for the evaluation to be completed (which will take at least two months), I would like to take some CLEP tests to satisfy these deficiencies as soon as I receive the results. I spoke with NAAB, and they recommended that I wait for the evaluation results. They have already stated in the education guidelines that CLEP exams can fulfill liberal arts credit deficiencies, so I don’t think it would hurt to earn some credits during this waiting period.

I was wondering if you have taken any CLEP tests and if NAAB approved them without any issues? Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thank you!

I have not taken any CLEP as I might want to transfer my credits to study something else in the future - not all CLEP can be transferred and some college won't accept it. If NAAB allows, then go for it; however, I recommend not doing anything prior to the complete of evaluation. You might also need to get pre-approval from NAAB to take the CLEP.
