PSI in Washington DC and Virginia
Twice I took my PA exam at two different PSI centers near me. First I took it at the Tyson’s corner one in Virginia. That was a terrible place, loud air conditioner, high traffic into and out of the room , inconsiderate staff, very large crowd in a single room, etc. I stopped the clock and walked out of the room in total frustration . I filled a complained and thankfully NCARB gave a a free seat.
On my second try I took the same test at PSI center in Washington DC located at 1300 Penn ave. That was an excellent place ! I am still surprised how good of an experience it was. The staff were really nice, cordial, helpful and respectful. The larger room was quiet despite being full. It had a capacity of 10 but wasn’t full during my test. I took it at 8:00 AM before anyone else arrived and the lady gave me a seat farthest away from the door. She said she knew how difficult ARE tests were and that we needed to be able to concentrate as much as possible. . I am grateful for that and highly recommend you check out this place , if you are in DMV area.

Hi Mansour,
I am taking an exam at the DC testing center tomorrow and was wondering what your experience was with bringing items into the test center? I read in the "test center details" when logging into my NCARB that the test center says not to bring in cell phones, bags, food, etc... I will be walking there from my apartment in DC so I don't understand what they expect me to do with my personal items. Were you able to store things there? Thanks!
