    Hi Arjumand.  No, you won't need to memorize R-values.  Just know that you need to add them up to get the R-value of the assembly.  Also, you should know how to convert a U into an R-value. R = 1 ÷ U.

    Know what a K-value is! You should be able to convert K to R to U.

    Any R Value needed for the exam should be provided in a reference on the exam.

    As others above have mentioned - understand the concepts of what R Value is, How to calculate overall R Value based on U Values, What K Value is, etc.
