Electricity Distribution
In terms of electricity distribution, where can I learn more about what distribution methods are cheapest and which are most flexible for electricity? Also, what are the cost implications of different types of electrical wires?
Thanks!

Wow that's a hefty subject to take on! I would not recommend MEEB - being as the entire book is basically about electrical systems and mechanics and can be super overwhelming.
I recommend starting with a study guide - Ballast ARE 5.0 Review Manual was super helpful for me - and then if you need more information or detail on certain subjects you can use the index in MEEB to focus on those items.
The Architects Studio Companion is also an incredible resource for all things. I do not recall a large amount in ASC about electrical systems though it has been a while since I read it.

I'd read Ballast first, and then ASC.
You should know where to locate the transformer and the different volts needed for various sized buildings.
