Looking for references to the explanation of one of the case study answers in Ballast ARE 5.0 Practice Questions.

"...the service entrance of the restaurant faces the street. Even though somewhat shielded by distance and landscaping, the drive-way is closer than the minimum 200 ft."

Is this 200 ft minimum from IBC? I can't seem to find where it's from.

  This is most likely a zoning criteria and not a building code issue.

  Thank you.

  Based on the phrasing, I thought they were talking about the service entrance driveway, but they must be referring to the curb cut which should be "no closer than 200 ft from intersection."
