Question for "Round to the nearest whole number"
For example, the result is 9.2. If I round to 9, the condition cannot be satisfied as a minimum threshold value. So I have to round to 10. But the question asks me to round to the nearest whole number. In general, I should round to 9 from 9.2. But in this specific condition, I have to round up to 10, since 9 cannot reach the minimum required level. I am very confused about this condition. Which one is correct, 9 or 10? Thank you very much.

That is very interesting, surprised to hear that. Good to know.
Shirui, what I would say to you is that, if they do say "round to the nearest whole number," but do not identify rounding up or down, you should do the following (using the numbers between 9 and 10 as an example):
-If it's in between 9 and 9.49, use 9.
-If it's in between 9.51 and 10, use 10.
-Trust that the answer is NOT going to end up being 9.5 right on the money, because that would leave you wondering what you should do in that instance, and the exam will not have that kind of scenario. Once you do your calculation, using the approach above, you will know what to do.
Hope that helps.
