Mr. Wilson:

From a personal experience, my employer does not contribute either for the ARE 5.0 divisional exam fees or any of the study materials. Their philosophy is that the architect licensure is a personal investment in oneself rather than an investment into the organization. The architect license is carried with you upon your departure from the firm.

Hope this gives you another perspective.

  That's such a good topic.

  My company pay me the cost of the exam division if I pass it.

  BUT

  If I leave the work within a year, I have to give the money back.

  To licensure, they don't expect us to stamp. And they will pay half of the licensure fee.
