I passed PPD on the first try yesterday. I have primarily used Amber Book - I watched the whole course and took detailed notes, then went back and re-wrote all my notes and consolidated based on importance/topic. That was the best thing I could have done to prepare. I studied about 10-15hrs a week for 2 months leading up to this exam. I prepared for PPD and PDD together. I'm taking PDD in two weeks.
I also recommend Black Spectacles practice exams and the NCARB practice exam. This was my fourth exam I've passed on the first try, and I fully believe that the more practice questions you do and more familiar you are with how the questions can be asked...the better you'll do on actual test day.
Amber Book!!! Videos, Book, Flashcards, Practice Exam
NCARB - practice exam for PPD and PDD
Black Spectacles - Quizzes and Practice Exam (I have found that buying the cheapest option of BS for the month before my test has been incredibly helpful to get me more practice problems without spending too much money on it.)
