Thursday’s 6pm ET Zoom study session is titled, “Practice-Wide Delivery of Services” You’ll take the first five minutes of class to answer the question alone, but if you would like to get a head-start on that, here is the assignment.

A hospital has hired an architecture firm to design a birthing center/maternity ward for new mothers in labor. Pregnant women have a choice where to give birth, births are lucrative for the hospital, and the client is engaged in fierce competition with other area hospitals to attract patients. Due to this competition, and because the hospital expects to own the birthing center for at least 75 years, construction cost is not a driving factor, but the wing must be of the highest quality.
