Appointment cancelation by PSI
I was scheduled to take my final ARE exam (PDD) this morning, 10.25.22 at 8:45. I got an email from NCARB on 10.24.22 at 5:30 pm, less than 24-hour notice before my exam, that my appointment for PDD had been cancelled. It's frustrating knowing that I have no control over the Test Centers availability.
This is a huge bummer! I've been on a roll using AMBER BOOK and passed PA and PPD these last 2 weeks. I was really hoping today would be the day I completed my ARE's. Had I known this would happen, I would have signed up for the online proctoring option instead.
There was no reasoning to my cancelation, and I would really appreciate it if NCARB could provide an explanation.

Hi Luis,
A PSI test center will typically only close because of weather, a power outage, an internet outage, a building issue, or other event outside of the control of NCARB. When a test center does close for an unforeseen event, PSI informs NCARB immediately and our system sends out an email to impacted candidates. You should also see a replacement seat credit in your NCARB Record. We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
I recommend reaching out to NCARB Customer Service if you have any additional questions about your exam cancellation.
