PjM and PcM pass
I passed Practice and Project Management on the first try with only one study resource: Amberbook. It is worth every penny, especially considering I don’t have to pay to take the exam again! I completed the amberbook pro practice section and then took the PCM. I then completed the codes amber book section and took PjM. I don’t think the codes section applied at all to either of these exams, and I wish I would have taken PjM immediately after passing practice.
I have 3 years of work experience, including some CA, so that may have helped some, but I would not consider my experience above and beyond the average tester. I am hoping my CA experience will help with CE.
The only other resource I referenced was a couple tables in the AHPP regarding project delivery types (graphic display of content covered on amber book). Other than these tables, I found AHPP was far too detailed, and not an efficient use of time. I studied for less than a month total for these exams.
I also took the NCARB practice exams and scored about a 70 on both. I found these helpful to asses my preparedness.
