Vapor Barriers Zoom Study Session with Christine Williamson
Thursday’s 6pm ET Zoom study session is titled, “Confusing Questions about Vapor Barriers” hosted by Christine Williamson of Building Science Fight Club. You’ll take the first five minutes of class to answer the question alone, but if you would like to get a head-start on that, here is the assignment.
An architect is designing a municipal services building in a location that has mild winters and hot, humid summers. The client insists that a sheet membrane vapor retarder of controlled permeability be specified for the exterior walls of the building.
Where in the exterior wall detail should the vapor retarder should be applied?
