Okay PSI Experience
Just took my last exam at a PSI location, I had an overall okay experience taking into account past experience with Prometric.
Pros :
The location had ample parking and was easy to find.
The Lobby & exam room were small but not crowded and the operating folks while were strict on rules but had a general chill and relax demeanor unlike my experience at Prometric.
I had no problem with software or my connection. ( I think they werent technically right in the way the software was set up though) which was a huge step up from my past experience. the files and drawings loaded pretty quickly with close to no lag on some of those details and elevations !!!
Cons :
The place was quite sketch just in general, The suite and everything inside it though was a huge down-grade.
The furniture was far from standard the examinees sat bizarrely close together and divided by a funny looking flimsy piece of plastic that is hardly doing anything.
They used a shared small file cabinet instead of a locker & don't get me started on the seat & desk adjustability... the lady even told me I couldn't put my leg up under me on the chair to get taller! :)
The one working restroom was located 200' away outside of the suite and you had to request a key to its locked door from proctoring staff. Calculating the time and possibility of an available restroom ruled out the plausibility of taking a break option for me.
I'm happy though since the good connection gave me enough time and I passed and I dont have to deal with it again! so there is the bias factor...
Good Luck!
