A B01 2017 - provision 3.1.2 vs 5.8

Provision 3.1.2 says that the architect shall coordinate it’s services with those services provided by the owner and the owner’s consultants but provision 5.8 says that the owner shall coordinate the services of its own consultants with those services provided by the architect. Can someone explain the difference between the provision and when each one being used? It’s sounds like it’s overwriting each other.

  Yes Margarita, They are overwriting each other. As I heard from Hanahan's Lecture, it means Architecture and owner are both responsible for coordinating the services of own with those provided by the other.
