Wood and Galvanic Action Study Session

Thursday’s 6pm ET Zoom study session is titled, “Wood & Galvanic action” You’ll take the first five minutes of class to answer the question alone, but if you would like to get a head-start on that, here is the assignment.

A yoga studio in a historic district in Savannah, GA wants to build an addition with a ground-level deck. The historic district requires wood siding and wood decks, and metal flashing. What is the best treated lumber - fastener pair for the deck joists and their connections to the addition if the building's flashing is galvanized steel?
