    OK mystery solved.

After cleaning cache and cookies of my browser, I am able to schedule the test. I did apply ESL time extension but I am not sure if they are related. I heard some candidates also had encountered this issue, try cleaning cache and cookies first!

    Thank you all.

You should ask for a month to be added to your clock too!

    Was this resolved??

    Hi Ang-Ruei,

I had the same problem and I also applied for the ESL. Did you already take your exams? If so, did you take it online or in person? I want to take it online but PSI said I can only take it in person.

    Thank you.

    Hello Marilou,

I think online test only allow time extension, if you would like to use dictionary you will need to take in person test. Hope this info can help you.

    Hi Ray,

So are you taking the exam online? I ended-up taking PDD & PPD in person because PSI said I can only take it in person if I have the ESL accommodation. I don't need dictionary at all. I have all my exams scheduled in person but I prefer to take it online if I can. Thank you.

Has anyone checked with their state board to see if they'll accept exams taken with ESL accomodations?

Ncarb is making us agree to: I understand that jurisdictions may change which ESL accommodations they accept at a future date, and that I may need to retake divisions of the ARE passed using ESL accommodations if they are not accepted by the jurisdiction where I am seeking licensure at the time of my application.

Imagine passing all your exams and then being refused of your title simply because you requested 20% more time to test.

    Oliver,
You should check with your state. I believe all of the states are allowing this now, but when ncarb first announced it a few states weren’t. In any case ncarb just wants you to acknowledge that each state determines their licensing and testing requirements.
    Good luck with your exams!

I believe It is a national standards to allow ESL accommodations. NY just allowed this last year.
