Camille, I understand completely.  The same thing happened roughly a week ago for me.  For mine, I knew I was close, but overall I thought I had passed.  So at this point all we can do is refocus our attention go over the study material one more time nad hope that we have learned from the exam we have taken.  If the road was easy then everyone would take it and in the end it will make that final pass so much more meaningful.

    Best of luck to you.

Sorry about that, Camille... I am not sure if you have received the score report yet, but it is possible that you failed the exam with 1 or 2 questions. Maybe it is why you felt that it was so close. I know it is frustrating, but if that is the case, at least you can be more confident next time you take the exam, knowing that you are very close.

I wish you the best of luck the next time. Hope you pass it!

Camille, the exact same thing happened to me more than once during the testing process.  The best thing to do is to shake it off and keep studying.  You will pass, it just takes time and perseverance.  Many who fail these tests miss just a question or two.  Don't let it get in your head that you don't know the material.  Just go back through it and pick up some new study material.  Keep working and you will eventually pass!

Yes, I think almost everyone has had this experience with the ARE!  Hang in there!  PPD has the lowest pass rate of all the AREs, so once you pass it, you're good.

Did you get your score report?  I'd be interesting in analyzing it.  You can email it to me if you don't want to post it here.

    Keep studying!
