FINALLY DONE!! ☑ Defeated the Final Boss (PPD) 🤜🐉 (3rd attempt) 🥊
I'm almost 40 and I just passed my last exam (PPD) and I just had to come here immediately to say thanks to the whole forum and everyone who posts questions, clarifications, resource guides, etc. I'm looking forward to my stamp. Special shoutout to my most helpful resources: Michael Ermann 's AmberBook for concept-grasping, Elif Bayram for her tougher-than-necessary exams (these are key), Benjamin Norkin 's Hyperfine study resources. Also I recommend ANKI Flashcards as a learning tool. Very useful.

Congrats Jethro! And thanks for bringing up ANKI. I just learned about it yesterday, hearing med students using it to learn large amounts of information, including diagrams--sounds helpful for the ARE! Have you been able to find shared decks, or have you created your own?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Congratulations Jethro, today i had my second fail on PPD, my first one was with 525, now im waiting to results. There were a lot of questions on the exam where there were to really reasonable options. I fill predy confident by my techincal knowledge. I think that the exam that i received was like Architect Studio Companion concentrated. I want to practice more questions with that format and with sections and floor plans. I practice a lot with black spectacles, and Architect Exam Prep. Which other resourse do you think i can have more practiuce questions like that?

Manuel Ignacio Granja Carbo I'm so sorry to hear that you did not pass PPD. It is a very tough exam and I can relate to what you are experiencing. I also did not pass PPD along my ARE journey and it was a difficult obstacle to overcome.
I'd love to meet with you to review your NCARB Score Report and help you develop a game plan for your next retake. Feel free to email me at kiaragalicinao@blackspectacles.com!
You are not alone and you will get through this :)
