Sun Path Group Assignment

Thursday’s 6pm ET Zoom study session program is titled, “Sun path” You’ll take the first five minutes of class to answer the question alone, but if you would like to get a head-start on that, here is the assignment.

For a sunny climate in the Northern Hemisphere, vertical fins are most appropriate to shade windows on the _______ side of a building. What happens differently as we move farther north to a site with a higher latitude? What happens differently in the winter? What types of trees do best in shading such a building?
