Passed PA!!

I passed PA in one attempt.

What I used to study:

- Black Spectacles practice exams and quizzes.
- Amber Book lectures and flashcards

I did not find Ballast very helpful with this exam.

I'm fortunate that the firm I work at subscribed to both BS and AB. I think with the combination of both of these programs, I was able to get a very solid grasp of the exam materials.

Others in the forum have mentioned before, the exam had a lot of drag and drop questions. I allowed 1 hour for the case study questions. It is important to know how to find information in the documents for the case studies. I think I spent about 30 minutes just searching through the documents for information.

There are some math questions, but they were not terribly complicated, in my opinion. You need to know what the right numbers to calculate and which numbers are distractions.

I went through the Thermal chapter twice. The following chapters I went through them once: the entire Site chapter, all the Bonus Questions Chapter for systems, construction and site, the entire Codes chapter, codes bonus questions, 2/3 or the flashcards (didn't have time to go through all the flash cards. I thought the flash cards were really good), and did the practice exam twice. At the end of Code bonus Questions is a list of supplemental code content. VERY HELPFUL!!!

Passed PA!!
