Likely Pass on Provisional Feedback

I took my final exam on Tuesday and got a Likely Pass on my provisional feedback. I haven't tested since they started doing that, so have no experience with it. Has there ever been a case when someone got a likely pass and failed?

  Hi Barry,

  Likely Pass means you do pass it. Congratulations! It shows "like" because it was not an official report at that moment.

  Thanks! I feel good, but I'll feel better when I get the official word from NCARB.

  Barry,

  NCARB has addressed this question in the past.  Really the only reason you would not pass after having received a "likely pass" is if someone thinks you cheated somehow, or if there was some sort of irregularity on your exam that would make someone question something you did ethically.  Assuming you're a good guy - you passed! :).
