PSI testing
"NCARB has migrated from Prometric to PSI to better support candidates with flexible scheduling options"

Hi Zorimar,
Thank you for your post. Please reach out to NCARB Customer Service regarding your concern. Based on your testing market and the ARE division you are looking to schedule, they will work with PSI directly to address timeslot availability in your area.

I just had my first experience of PSI, after taking the first four exams at Prometric. I don't know if my experience was just a bad day at this particular location but it was quite unacceptable. The building had no signage and I couldn't tell where the front door was. Then once in the building, the entire place was run by one person, who was constantly overwhelmed by technical issues - printer not working, testing programs not loading on the work stations. There was no drinking water, and the waiting room was full of cardboard boxes. The worst part was that the staff member kept coming into the exam room while on her cell phone with tech support. It was quite hard to focus on the exam and listen to tech support conversations at the same time.

I'm still working with NCARB customer service. I am very disappointed since the scheduling in person has been so difficult. There are minimum choices of dates and times available for testing center near my area. Also, the testing center does not operates on Saturdays, meaning I have to take days off my work in order to test.

I took several ARE exams in Prometric, which was a very peaceful and professional place to run exams. I have heard so many people who took ARE at PSI and all of their comments are disappointing. It should be corrected and we have to have fare condition as we paid the expensive fee to take the exam.
