IBC Occupancy Classification

Hi everyone,

how would these spaces be classified?

a machine shop / mechanic shop

a book store

an art gallery 

a community hall (with or without food being served)

a small community library

I appreciate it if you could clarify this for me with detail, it would be very helpful !

  Hi Uri,

  I suggest reading chapter 3 of the IBC.

  You should be able to classify these on your own to be prepared for the exam.  Perhaps you already have?
